    Sheena Miller, Project Director

    Sheena is the creative brainchild of the Live Love Local campaign. From designing the campaign concept to hiring the all star team of professionals to touching all project elements in between, Sheena puts in the hours to drive Live Love Local and has an uncanny ability to bring the best out of people and projects. She brings a vision, desire and work ethic like no other and wealth of experience to the Live Love Local team, both from her current role as the Executive Director for the Smithers Chamber of Commerce and from the numerous events, projects and initiatives she has championed over the years across Western Canada. Sheena's passion for supporting local businesses and dedication to strengthening our region's economy and culture is unmatched, and the Live Love Local team is proud to have her at the helm.

    Alison Watson, Logistics Manager

    As an experienced community planner and project manager, Alison is an integral asset to the Live Love Local team. Developed through her experience with PLAN 54 Consulting, providing professional planning services to local governments and community organizations throughout Northwest BC, Alison has the vision to imagine what is possible and the skills to make it happen. Her passion for creating a vibrant local community shines through in her work with Live Love Local.

    Susan is a long-time Smithers local, bringing over 30 years of business and managerial experience to the Live Love Local team. As Office Manager at the Smithers Chamber of Commerce, Susan has contributed greatly to the growth of our region's vibrant business community over the years. Susan's dedication to the local community, her wealth of experience in supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs, and her detail-oriented approach make her an essential member of the LLL team.

    Sandra Smith, Graphic Designer

    Sandra Smith is the creative force behind Live Love Local's visual identity. As a graphic designer, she brings a wealth of experience from both her role as owner-operator of Design Works, as well as her work with Tourism Smithers. A long-time Smithers resident, Sandra has a deep understanding of the local business community and her design work can be found throughout the region's economic and cultural tapestry. With a passion for great design and a track record of creating effective communications for local organizations, Sandra is an invaluable asset to the Live Love Local team.

    Elijah Quinn, Social Media Manager

    A creator at heart, Elijah Quinn is the force behind Live Love Local's social media content and strategy. As a musician, a filmer, and the Artistic Director of the renowned Kispiox Valley Music Festival, Elijah brings a deep understanding of community engagement and storytelling. He is also the owner and operator of Sonniquinn Studios, a Smithers-based video and audio production company. Elijah is a key part of the Live Love Local team, helping to promote and support local businesses in an authentic and engaging way.

    Sarah Zimmerman is the in-house writer for Live Love Local, bringing over 15 years of experience as a senior communications and public relations practitioner in Northern BC's small business, corporate and public sectors. As testament to her dedication to community, Sarah also currently serves as a city councillor for her hometown, the City of Terrace. Her combination of professional experience and community involvement make her an invaluable asset and natural fit for the Live Love Local team.

    Dolly Alfred, Wet'suwet'en Language Keeper

    Dolly Alfred is the Wet'suwet'en language & culture expert for Live Love Local. A dedicated Wet'suwet'en ambassador, she is the host of ‘Wet'suwet'en Wilhatatdzïn’, a video series devoted to teaching the language and culture of the Witsuwit’en people. Dolly is a well-known face in the North and a regular participant in cultural events across the region. Her deep understanding and passion for her culture make her an invaluable asset to the Live Love Local team and her contributions are instrumental in promoting and supporting local businesses in an informed and authentic way.

Thomas’ work speaks for itself, and he has built a reputation as a top-tier solution for small businesses looking to create visual assets for branding and marketing. Based in Smithers, Marty is a renowned photographer and filmmaker known for his work with tourism, industry and small businesses. Having worked with many high-profile clients around the world, Marty brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to the Live Love Local campaign. Marty’s innate ability to capture the true soul of our region's communities is instrumental for the LLL campaign.

    Jake Daly is the web designer for Live Love Local, bringing his expertise in communications, content creation and digital marketing to our team. Based in his hometown of Smithers, Jake runs Tiny Life Media, collaborating with government, First Nations, and small business clients to help tell their stories through engaging video, photography and written content. Jake's passion for Northwest BC combined with his literacy in the new-media landscape make him a valuable asset to the LLL team, helping to design and develop a website that effectively promotes and supports our local businesses and communities.
